A portal from a room that leads to SPAAAAAACE

My partner and I have celebrated one year of having our first house together. The house has three bedrooms. One is, of course, our bedroom. The second is my office (still in progress). And the third?

The Geek Room.

This room is a collection (or a museum, according to our friends) of a good chunk of the geeky things we have. This includes video games, anime, manga, figures, standees, board games, classic systems, just... everything you can think of. But just have a room with shelves and things wasn't enough, oh no, not for us.

And thus, the painting began.

I wanted to post this picture, because this is one of my favorite things that we painted in the room. She sketched out the portal on the wall along with Wheatley. Then, she painted the portal and Wheatley. I added a bit more details then sketched the Earth, the prince rolling the Katamari ball, and the StarFox ship. The Mario starbits are the only thing not hand drawn and painted by us, those were from my old job at GameStop.

This project isn't done, not yet. Our ceiling in this room is black, and so we plan on painting the moon and the blue portal.

There's other things in the picture you can see, like Jack Frost from the Persona games, and some Tetris blocks in the corner, and Voltron stuff. Feel free to geek over that stuff, but the main thing I wanted to post was the portal
